I made this costume because my friend really wanted to cosplay Rin. I made the Saber costume and Dan made my sword. I also styled the wig for the first time because I own about 6 blonde wigs and I didn’t want to buy another one. It was overall a very easy costume to make and I tweaked a few details because I didn’t like how they looked originally. :)

Gurren Lagann - Yoko

Gurren Lagann: Yoko

I actually didn’t make this costume. My friend let me wear it since Dan made and let her use the gun. I’ve also never seen Gurren Lagann, so I never thought about cosplaying this character before (my boobs are also not big enough ;p) It was quite cold that day, but fun nonetheless.

I made this costume a long time ago, maybe a year or so ago. I wasn’t too fond of it since I had rushed it and omitted many of the details, but I had some gold ribbon and lace laying around, so I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try and spruce it up a little bit. I’m really happy with how it turned out. I would still like to add a few things, but overall I’m pleased with it. I’ve always wanted to make a Lineage costume ever since I saw some of the art work from the game. Dan made the bow and arrow to go with this costume.

League of Legends: Foxfire Ahri

League of Legends: Foxfire Ahri

Made this in 5 days as a last minute second costume for Busan. Out of all of the characters, I don’t know why I picked the only one that’s supposed to be Korean xD. The most annoying part was sewing the nine tails. Fur. Everywhere. The ears, surprisingly, came out better than I expected them to. I actually made her necklace but completely forgot to put it on, so I guess I’ll have to wear this one again then. :D

FFX-2 - Warrior Rikku

I actually made this costume three years ago, but never got any good photos of it and just kind of forgot about it for awhile. There was a cosplay event coming up and I made two new costumes, but the weather was terrible and the fabrics that I used where prone to water staining, so I decided to dust this costume off and wear it instead. I actually had to alter it a bit because my sewing abilities three years ago we’re super great. The machine I originally made it with was an absolute nightmare (wouldn’t thread properly, tension settings didn’t work, the plastic was warped so sometimes the needle would graze the metal plate), so I think I probably gave up trying to make it look neat. The top bothers me a lot, but I decided to wear it last minute, so I didn’t have much time to take it all apart.

This is the wig that I used for Gunner Rikku. A friend of mine let me borrow her Rikku wig, but it looked pretty awkward on me, so I decided to use a simple blonde wig with a few braids on top.
